WHISPERING PINES needs a typist for the two summer issues.  It is critical that we have one or two persons who could help in this production need.  Speed not important - accuracy and checking your own copy IS.  The job involves computer work-typing of individual articles -  and the sending of them, in document style,  to the Troiano's for set up in the paper.

The May/June issue deadline is June 5, so a typist needs to be "on board" by then.  I will help with the routine and get articles to you.  No extra proof-reading or editing is required.  IF YOU CAN HELP, PLEASE CALL OR E-MAIL NANCY KANIA (822-2234) or HOWARD HARRISON (826-8366).  The typing will take a few hours for a day or so, but it is critical.  Please consider if you can help.  Thanks so much.

Unfortunately due to multiples problems with this computer, I am replacing it.  I was able to salvage many contacts but not ones that were not in categories such as Pine Lakes Mailing list.  That one and several other similar would not transfer.  Therefore this will be the last message I'll be able to send out.  You can still find up to date information by going to the Internet to www.mypinelakes.com and clicking on Bulletin Board.  If you have items you wish to place on the bulleting board you may send them to either me (I have a new laptop) or Ralph Stallsworth (who maintains the Bulletin Board) at ras10025@comcast.net
I did manage to salvage a printed copy of the list and anyone wishing to take it over would be welcome to it.  AOL will not permit you to send to them.  However Embarq, Comcast, gmail and many others do. Hope all your future emails are good news.
Best regards,
Joan Kelly

FROM THE WHISPERING PINES EDITORS: We hope you enjoyed our colorful December issue.  And, believe it or not, we are already working on the January one. Since this issue will concentrate quite a bit on the upcoming homeowner board elections, we hope some of you will submit some lighter fare: stories of the frozen north, a good/bad Christmas this year, a different New Year's resolution, or the like. IF YOU ARE A CANDIDATE FOR HOA OR PLEHOA BOARD, don't forget you owe us a short bio.  I presently only have three. DEADLINE FOR ARTICLES AND ADS: JANUARY 5, 2010
